Penis Vitiligo Forum

I created this blog for people who have Penile Vitiligo to share their photos, advice, remedies, and suggestions when their penis has been affected with vitiligo. We all know too well, the ackwardness of removing our clothes with a new partner and having to explain what penile vitiligo is and how it is NOT contagious. I know I was uncomfortable with showing it for the firat time when with a new partner. I was uncomfortable and very embarrassed and felt my penis was ugly. If anyone has advise for us on counseling, advice, what to do medically or to just share their story, please feel free.

  1. Thank you for your blog and sharing about vitiligo on the penis. I developed vitiligo on my penis and scrotum during puberty. Mine is more extensive than that shown in your photos. I had no clue what it was or why it was happening. Not until I was in my 30's did I finally learn about vitiligo and soon after even saw another penis with spots. Knowing I was not alone, made a big difference for me, was able to better accept how my penis was different looking. I have no advice, just wanted to share my story and thank you for sharing yours.

  3. As a 25yo good lookng sexually active gay man, it really torments me and scares off partners. I've had guys run out the door horrified as soon as my jockeys came off. Of course they don't know about Vitiligo, so they assume its HIV, herpes, or some other type of STD, or even cancer.

A few years ago I had a plastic surgeon who was going to tatoo the patches, but then he decided against it in the 11th hour, due to the site (location) (penis).

I've tried explaining it to my potential sex partner ahead of time, but that always turns him off and he suddenly would come down with a migraine or nausea or family emergency or some other reason to leave.

What does work is to turn the lights off in the bedroom, and use a candle or two. Block the canglelight from directly hitting the "work area". Put some cool music on and hopefuly your partner won't notice. It seems that the Vitiligo is much less obvious once my dick gets hard, so I try to wait until its nice and hard before I left him go down on me.

Good luck guys, i know it sucks.

Thought i had caught something but got it checked out and assured that i didnt catch anything. so i googled my problem and found this. good to know im not alone. the only thing i can think of is maybe stress? i had recently got 2 duis last year and got really depressed. then the white spot appeared. luckly for me its just on nickle sized spot but it still gets to me :/ i was thinking about maybe using the tanning lotion?

  7. I have a little white spot in the head of my penis. Once i was masturbating in the age of 14. I was harsh, squeezing my penis. Than i saw blood in my semen. After few days i masturbated again to check if there is blood. There was still blood but not that much.
Whitin a time of one week(i don't remember clearly) that white spot developed. I was horrified. Thought i killed the tissues in the tip of my penis. Thought that it was gangrene. I know that's stupid but i was too young. I told my problem two times to my family. But they told it is nothing important at all. At the second time i hardly asked them to take me to a doctor they accepted but then they forgot. I had paranoid thoughts such as they secretly went to doctor and he said there is no cure. There was no internet those days so i cound't get any knowledge on my own. I got thoughts like, how will i marry, i will be humilated by my wife. Etc.

In short, i hadn't the courage to ask them again to take me to the doctor. And i fell into a deep depression for 7 years. At the age of 21 i finally confessed my family, that white spot is my only problem in my life.

We have gone to an urologist. He said it was just because of lack of melanin pigment. The reason is unknown. I said what about the bleeding, he said it is capillary bleeding and it is nothing important, nor a permanent damage. I was relaxed. But i fell into a deep depression so i had to take psychiatric threatment for years.

Most importantly my career was ruined because of this stupid event. I was a very clever and successful student and my teacher was expecting me to have a great career. But after that damn white spot occured, i did't care my lessons, and i become unsuccesful.

I studied in a shitty university, and so i had shitty jobs. My entire career was ruined.

Well i believe vitiligo may occur because of trauma which was my case. A masturbation accident has ruined my entire life.

Well my story may be a bit off the topic but i just wanted to share. Just to state the important of sexual education of children. My familiy never educated me. I had to learn everything myself. I they had worn me not to be harsh while masturbating, those whole nightmare won't ever happen. But my family was ignorent.

    That's all.

  8. I noticed a 'birth mark' after I was circumsized. I went to the doctor who told me not to worry about it and that it was skin pigmentation. Over the years, the pigmentation waxes and wanes. Sometimes very noticeable and other times not so noticeable. When my penis is erect, the pigmentation is almost unnoticeable.
My ex-wife was never bothered about it, but I am very self conscious of it with new partners. As a consequence, I am reticent with with some women.
    How do I upload photos?

  9. Hello,

I have Vitiligo on my penis. I have no problem with this. But I am very afraid that it may affect other parts of the body or even my face. I have it on my penis for 2 years now and it really slowly got bigger and yesterday was diagnosed as vitiligo. But the dermatologist did not give any information about vitiligo.

Are there good chances that it will stay at my penis? Or is there bigger chance that it will also affect other parts of the body?

    Kind regards

  10. My partner has penile vitiligo. It never freaked me out. And then he explained it. Now I know he can't sunbathe naked. Lol. Honestly though, as a female artist who loves painting and loves cock, I find it really attractive, unique, and sexy.
Just to say, I'm sure I'm not the only one.

  13. Hi all,
I was facing the problem of Vitiligo on penis. It was really very awkward while having sex. My partner doesn't like the white spots on my penis. Then I realised that I need to do something to fix this. I went to the dermatologist and he suggested me homeopathic treatment. I wasn't sure about homeopathic treatment but as my doctor suggested I tried it for my penile vitiligo. After 4 months of continuous treatment my vitiligo has gone and my penis is spotless. I am very satified with this treatment. Everyone with penile vitiligo should try this treatment: http://bit.ly/2b3SeR4

  15. Hello
I have exactly the same problem over my penis (exactly like in your pictures). I am 27 years old and I suffer from vitiligo penis over the past year. After meetings with many dermatologists (most of them do not know how to deal with the problem and many of them say "there is nothing to do and no way to handle it, get used to living with it") I met a dermatologist who gave me an ointment called "Protopic 0.1%" and once I started using the cream until now, (almost a year), 50% white spots disappeared (I believe it's because of this ointment). I'm from Israel and the ointment is not so cheap here ($39 per tube, until now I used about 8 tubes (but I recommend to try and use this cream (you have nothing to lose except a little money, the cream has no side effects or pain except that it stains the underwear. As I said repigmentation process is very slow and need a lot of patience. Of course that I continue to look for other solutions and other medications because my sex life completely Screwed, But I'm optimistic (some say it helps recovery).
I'd love to hear if anyone found other options that help and promise to update on my progress

  16. Hi,
I am having vitiligo spots on my penis. The doctor said this is a condition of penile vitiligo and it can be cured with the help of homeopathic medicines. He added, many people are facing this condition since they have white spots of vitiligo on their private parts like genitals and breasts. The laser treatment is not suggested for this penile vitiligo. So homeopathic medicines is the best option to cure it. I am starting my homeopathic treatment from https://www.askdrshah.com/app/vitiligo/vitiligo-on-genitals.aspx. Lets hope my vitiligo gets cured soon.

  18. I'm developed vitiligo about 15 years ago and it's been incredibly annoying and it plays with my self-esteem. I am scared of intimacy because of it. Lights off always. I asked my Dr. about it and he basically told me that there is nothing I can do about it. The more I read about it the more I keep running into this website:
    https://www.askdrshah.com/online.aspx
I want to do it, but it makes me nervous that it may be a scam. Does anyone know anything about it and if they legit?

  19. Hi there, I don't know how active this blog is, but I too suffer from Vitiligo on my Penis. I used Protopic Tacrolimus Ointment 0.1% for the past 3 months and started to see some re-pigmentation in areas. The process is very slow, honestly expect to see NO DIFFERENCE after a month or so of use, it was only until about the 2 month mark I started to notice it was working. I live in Canada and I am a student so a tube of this stuff is really cheap because I have a student health care plan + universal health care. I've so far used about 1 tube. The de-pigmentation was spreading ever so slowly after months but stopped when I used this ointment. I hope it just stops and my colour returns back to normal.

    2. As you can see an earlier post that i published (optimistic27).
This ointment helped me a lot but now (after one year) it stopped. It is important to put twice a day and do not stop because the effect is very slow (but really works to a certain extent).
In addition, I check information about micro pigmentation and MKTP.
I'd love to get more information about your pregress: help887766@gmail.com‬

    2. Hey Pammy, I also used this ointment ("Protopic 0.1%") and once I started using the ointment until now (almost a year), 50% of white spots showed repigmentation (I believe it's because of this ointment). In my opinion it's worth to you to try this ointment!

  22. Update: Still using Protopic Tacrolimus Ointment 0.1%, and getting some really good results. Though, I'd like to start a conversation about the use of this method. Has anyone experienced a relapse, or has your Vitiligo come back after stopping the use of this ointment?

    Cheers

    1. Hey there, I'm happy to hear about your positive progress and results!
I stopped using the ointment after a year and a half I used it (I no longer use the ointment for about 7 months) and meanwhile the results remained and there were no new white spots that apear.
I really experienced good results with this ointment but unfortunately not all the white spots returned to the original color (brown).
I'm still looking for something to help me with the repigmentation of the remaining spots.
If someone has an idea or knows something that helps please share.
      Good luck

    2. hmm... I'm worried that might be my case. I have been using the ointment for about 6 months now, and it arrested the spread of the vitiligo for sure, and has returned some of the color ever so slowly. In order to find a way for the skin to re-pigment entirely, we need to understand the mechanism of the disease in the first place. Since Protopic worked for your case, that means we can deem that Vitiligo on your body autoimmune. That means your body created some antibodies that were attacking the melanin cells (the cells that create color). Now that we have killed off these antibodies enough with Protopic, the disease won't progress (hopefully) but there still shows patches of white from the damage left over. We now need to regrow those cells. I have been recently looking at some potential ways to do this. I have heard people having success returning color using black seed oil but I'm not sure.

  25. Hi,
A few years after being told that the white large patch on my penis was vitligo, I went through a circumcision that removed my penis foreskin, which consisted of most of the infected skin. Though their a remained a small(tiny) area of white patch, it slowly began to regain a similar pigment, within space of 3 years.
    Hope this helps.

  26. Hey guys!
I am happy to inform you that a vitiligo clinic has been opened in Tel Aviv, Israel. The clinic deals with vitiligo by using MKTP (melanocyte-keratinocyte transplantation procedure). At these times, this treatment has the best results for color restoration (repigmentation). Currently, the clinic's website is only in Hebrew and will soon be available in English as well (www.vitiligocare.co.il).
you are invited to ask and consult with me by e-mail: help887766@gmail.com
